2025 IAEM-USA Top 40 under 40 Recognition Program

IAEM invites members to participate in a new recognition for IAEM-USA members who are under 40 years old. The Top 40 under 40 is a prestigious recognition given to individuals who have demonstrated exceptional talent, leadership, and achievements in their respective fields.

The Top 40 under 40 honor is a symbol of excellence and a testament to the remarkable achievements and hard work of the next generation of emergency management professionals who are making significant strides in their careers and positively impacting their communities and emergency management as a whole.

Eligibility

Any IAEM-USA member who is under 40 years old may be nominated to be recognized for their achievements and emergency management community involvement. 

Nominations Process

IAEM members are invited to nominate and exceptional member or tow for giving their all to their communities, even while balancing family, friends, and life. Nominations are accepted by completing a short survey providing information on why an individual should be in IAEM-USA's Top 40 under 40.

Deadlines

The start date is March 17, 2025. 

The deadline to receive nominations is 5:00 p.m., EDT, March 31, 2025.

The awards will be presented in Mid-April.

Determining the Top 40

The Top 40 will be chosen by the IAEM-USA Awards Committee panel of judges assessing candidates based on criteria such as innovation, impact, leadership qualities, and community involvement.
