Application Documents for Certification Fee Waiver Lottery

Please carefully review the qualifications outlined below before submitting your notice of interest. 

1. Open to individuals who have not yet submitted the IAEM Certification application, taken the certification exam or submitted the application fee;
2. Interested applicants must be employed full or part-time as emergency managers in one of the following jurisdictions to apply:

1. City/county
2. Other local government entity
3. state/territory
4. tribal 

3. Individuals must be committed to completing their certification application by February 29, 2024 and the exam by May 15, 2024.

Complete and return the three documents as one PDF to Kate McClimans for the lottery. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

The deadline to submit your application is November 17 to Kate McClimans via email Kate@iaem.com. Use the subject line "Certification Cohort Application". All applicants who apply will be notified of the results after Thanksgiving.
