To request an addition to the USA TAC, requestors will complete this Microsoft form with the elements below:

  1. Curriculum holder
  2. Course number (if applicable)
  3. Course title
  4. Course syllabus and/or official course description
  5. Number of scheduled occurrences within a calendar year
  6. Proposed number of contact hours
  7. Class structure (1 or 2-day course, 3–5-day course, etc.)
  8. Recommended allocation (Emergency Management Training or General Management Training)
  9. Point of contact for questions

Failure to provide the required information will lead to delays in processing the request.

Follow-up communication or specific questions will be addressed via email at TACTraining@iaem.com.

Please Note:

  • Single offerings of training opportunities will not be considered. A one-time delivery of a course, workshop, or training session is not eligible for inclusion in the USA TAC.
  • IAEM will acknowledge requests and forward them to the IAEM Certification Commission Training Allocation Chart Workgroup for review. The workgroup will recommend each addition to the Certification Commission, which will vote on it. IAEM will notify the requester of the outcome as quickly as possible.
  • Curriculum holders are responsible for notifying the Certification Commission of any changes to the classes that appear on the TAC, including, but not limited to, changes to course titles, length and/or content of courses, and/or courses that have been sunsetted.
  • It is recommended that curriculum holders verify their listed courses annually and notify IAEM via TACTraining@iaem.com of any changes as soon as they are discovered.
  • The IAEM Certification Commission and/or the USA Training Allocation Chart Workgroup reserve the right to update the TACs as needed.  Curriculum holders may not be notified of changes.
