IAEM International Council President Khaled Al Mansoori met with U.S. Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Administrator Craig Fuguate during the IAEM 58th Annual Conference, held Oct. 29-Nov. 4, 2010, in San Antonio, Texas, USA.
International Council President Khaled Mansoori met with the top U.S. emergency manager, Mr. Craig Fugate, Administrator of the Federal Emergency Management Agency at the 58th Annual IAEM Conference in San Antonio, Texas, USA. During the meeting Mr. Al Mansoori commended Fugate for the work he has done at “one of the toughest jobs in the world.” Mr. Al Mansoori talked with excitement about his new position, and his desire to “increasing disaster resilience and raising the level of public emergency preparedness around the world.” With IAEM’s largest contingency in the US, Mr. Al Mansoori expressed his interest to working with IAEM, and the US Emergency Management Community to help IAEM’s International Council achieve their goals.
The IAEM 58th Annual Conference drew more than 2,300 emergency management professionals to San Antonio, Texas, USA. IAEM International Council President Khaled Al Mansoori attended the Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony that opened EMEX 2010. The Emergency Management & Homeland Security Expo (EMEX) brings together disaster officials and those who provide tools and resources. Products and services were featured from almost 200 suppliers at EMEX 2010 in San Antonio, Texas.
