On Oct. 2,  2024, each eligible voter in the IAEM-USA Region 9 (Individual, Affiliate, and Lifetime members) will receive an email from IAEM Headquarters notifying them that voting has begun in the 2024 IAEM-USA Region 9 Officers Special Election to fill the seat vacated when the current president was elected as IAEM-USA second vice president. Please retain the email from IAEM HQ, as it includes your individual link to the online ballot.

Voting Period

• Start Date: The voting period begins on Oct. 2, 2024, when all voting members are sent the announcement from IAEM Headquarters.
• End Date: The online ballot will remain open until Friday, Nov. 1, 2024, 5:00 p.m. EDT. The online ballot will close at that time.

How to Vote

• When you are ready to vote, click on the link to your individual ballot that is found in the email sent to you by IAEM HQ on Oct. 2, 2024. 
• Your individual voting link is unique to you and will take you directly to the online ballot where you can cast your vote. Do not share your voting link.
• The ballot consists of one multiple-choice question. Click on your selected responses, and then click on the SUBMIT button at the bottom of the ballot.
• Once you click on the SUBMIT button, your vote is recorded. You can't go back, and you can't make changes -- so be sure that your ballot is as you want it BEFORE you click the SUBMIT button.

Privacy

Your privacy is protected when you vote in an IAEM online election. Your personal choices will not be shared with anyone and are held confidential.
